Market Intelligence - Engineering Summer Intern

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site field visits and plant inspections within industrial zones
• Execute structured interviews and questionnaires with diverse stakeholders, from maintenance users to senior management
• Map the current state of industrial automation bases and identify technical gaps for system upgrades
• Record and synthesize raw survey data to identify investment and expansion signals
• Act as a professional representative of Infomineo while coordinating with facility leads
• Report fieldwork status and validate data accuracy to project managers

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Faculty of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Systems & Control)
• Expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027
• Full proficiency in both English and Arabic
• Willingness and ability to travel to industrial zones in Greater Cairo, Giza, Suez, and Alexandria
• Availability to work from July 1st through the end of August 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of Industrial Automation (PLC, SCADA, DCS)
• Interest in Digital Transformation, Industrial AI, or Cybersecurity in OT environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
