About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare market intelligence reports to support global sourcing strategies
  • Execute supplier intelligence processes and maintain the Supplier Intelligence Platform (SIP)
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to ensure Equipment & Material (E&M) strategies reflect current market conditions
  • Lead market and supplier intelligence initiatives through category health reviews
  • Perform regular research and studies on categories such as E&M, Labor, Chemicals, and Offshore
  • Create comprehensive supplier profiles based on capability, capacity, and financials
  • Maintain and act as custodian for SI dashboards and reports
  • Map historical and current bid intelligence on the SIP

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in global sourcing intelligence
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Production preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including pattern detection and root cause analysis
  • Fluent English communication skills for technical and business contexts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience using procurement, engineering, and market intelligence technology sources
  • Ability to create cost models, total cost of ownership, and full lifecycle models
