Leap is on a mission to decarbonize the world’s electric grids by building and scaling virtual power plants (VPPs). Their software platform facilitates fast, automated access to energy markets across the U.S., helping partners unlock new revenue and support electric grids.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate future electricity markets and programs for potential entry
• Coordinate and lead the cross-functional launch process for new markets and programs
• Investigate and synthesize complicated policies and market rules
• Communicate key concepts effectively to a variety of stakeholders
• Manage multiple tasks and projects effectively

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in wholesale electricity markets, policy, utility demand response programs, or Distributed Energy Resources
• Experience with North American, Japan, the UK, and/or European electricity markets
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in remote or hybrid environments across time zones
• Strong ability to work both autonomously and cross-functionally to achieve consensus
