Market Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Drive distribution growth across priority brands and secure new placement opportunities
• Manage a defined universe of priority on-premise accounts within the assigned market
• Build and maintain relationships with operators, bartenders, beverage directors, and retail buyers
• Deliver product education and training to trade and distributor partners
• Analyze sales performance, distribution data, and account trends to identify opportunities
• Execute local programming, events, and activation initiatives
• Travel as needed to support regional and national initiatives

Requirements

• 3-4 years of beverage alcohol, hospitality, field sales, or related commercial experience
• Strong understanding of the three-tier system and beverage alcohol landscape
• Valid driver's license and ability to reside within the assigned market
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships within the local Chicago trade community
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build professional relationships
