Market Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Drive distribution growth and secure new placement opportunities within target accounts
• Manage a defined universe of priority on-premise accounts in the assigned market
• Build and maintain relationships with operators, bartenders, beverage directors, and retail buyers
• Deliver product education and training to trade and distributor partners
• Analyze sales performance and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities
• Execute local programming, events, and activation initiatives
• Support distributor mandates and market launches

Requirements

• 3-4 years of beverage alcohol, hospitality, field sales, or related commercial experience
• Strong understanding of the three-tier system and beverage alcohol landscape
• Valid driver's license and ability to reside within the assigned market
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong analytical and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Existing relationships within the local trade community
