Market Development Manager MEP

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary business owner for Stabicad in India, driving market-fit validation, commercial sales, and localized country strategy.
• Conduct market intelligence by engaging with MEP consultancies, BIM chapters, and general contractors to provide feedback to global Product Management.
• Execute strategic business development to secure net-new, MEP-focused accounts and engage C-level executives at tier-1 firms.
• Build ecosystem partnerships with Indian industry organizations, BIM institutions, and manufacturing bodies.
• Collaborate with technical Sales Engineers and the Tekla sales team to align product demonstrations with strategic value and unlock cross-sell opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience within the Construction/MEP industry or the Construction Tech software marketplace in India.
• Strong fluency in the Autodesk Revit ecosystem, including a deep understanding of design, detailing, and fabrication workflows.
• Proven track record in strategic business development, specifically entering new regional markets or launching new products.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and build sales pipelines from scratch.

• Established professional connections with relevant Indian industry associations and consulting bodies.
• An active network of C-level and director-level contacts within the Indian MEP and construction contractor ecosystem.
