About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue in assigned territories by working with local dealers and the broader MillerKnoll sales team
- Support current customers and unlock new business opportunities in smaller markets
- Engage with influencers in the A&D, Real Estate, Design, and Project Management communities to increase specifications
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity to inform resourcing plans
- Maintain accurate Salesforce (CRM) information to support monthly sales volume forecasting
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful contract or capital goods selling experience
- Advanced selling and negotiation skills, including lead generation and consultative selling
- Ability to travel as needed to support territory development
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience as a dealer direct salesperson
- Expertise within a dealer environment with sales planning capabilities
