Market Data Specialist, Metadata

Responsibilities

• Investigate data quality and reliability issues
• Interface with exchanges or data vendors to raise, track, and resolve issues
• Assist the Metadata team and internal clients in understanding data better
• Advise on solutions such as changing monitoring processes
• Configure internal services and tools and add overrides

Requirements

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with financial instrument metadata, especially reference data preferred
• Programming experience in any language
• Knowledge of SQL or other database languages
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix command-line environments
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Fluency in English
