Market Data Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with market data vendors, including onboarding, audits, and cost optimization
• Support data governance initiatives, including documentation, controls, and quality metrics
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for data quality and usage
• Assist in implementing new data platforms, tools, or feed integrations
• Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements
• Partner with stakeholders across the firm to align market data strategy with business needs
• Respond to real-time issues using sound judgment and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in market data, financial services, or a related analytical role
• Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX)
• Experience with market data providers such as Bloomberg or Refinitiv
• Proficiency with SQL; knowledge of Python is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis capabilities
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
