Market Data Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Liaise with business and technology users to understand current and desired market data usage requirements.
• Proactively analyze market data announcements to assess impact on the production environment.
• Drive market data cost efficiency initiatives and provide cost management reporting to senior management.
• Manage market data exchange audits and internal trading application market data controls.
• Act as a vendor management point of escalation for internal market data customers.
• Build strong relationships with application teams to understand normalized enterprise data requirements.
• Develop inventory, financial, and contractual controls for all market data services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial markets and applications.
• Extensive Market Data domain knowledge and experience in the Enterprise Market Data domain.
• Experience with NYSE Technologies, Bloomberg (terminals, Data License, B-pipe), or Refinitiv RMDS software.
• Deep understanding of exchange-specific data feeds and global exchange rules/methodology.
• Experience with market data entitlements systems such as DACS or DART.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and task management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to working with real-time market data exchange feeds in a low-latency environment.
• Experience with Project Management.
