About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete rotational assignments across key departments such as Operations and Chartering
- Participate in structured learning through the in-house "Harren Academy"
- Develop practical expertise in vessel operations, cargo handling, logistics, and compliance
- Engage in mentorship sessions to receive one-on-one professional guidance
- Gain international exposure, including the opportunity for a rotation in an international office
- Build a professional network through industry workshops and networking events
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as Schifffahrtskaufmann/-frau (or equivalent shipping experience) OR a degree in Business Administration, International Management, or Economics
- Academic focus on maritime, shipping, or logistics
- Fluency in English
- Strong passion for the maritime industry, specifically heavy-lift and project cargo
- Willingness to relocate to Hamburg for the majority of the programme
