Maritime Kick-Start Programme Traineeship

Responsibilities

• Complete rotational assignments across key departments such as Operations and Chartering
• Participate in structured learning through the in-house "Harren Academy"
• Develop practical expertise in vessel operations, cargo handling, logistics, and compliance
• Engage in mentorship sessions to receive one-on-one professional guidance
• Gain international exposure, including the opportunity for a rotation in an international office
• Build a professional network through industry workshops and networking events

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as Schifffahrtskaufmann/-frau (or equivalent shipping experience) OR a degree in Business Administration, International Management, or Economics
• Academic focus on maritime, shipping, or logistics
• Fluency in English
• Strong passion for the maritime industry, specifically heavy-lift and project cargo
• Willingness to relocate to Hamburg for the majority of the programme
