Marine Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver multidisciplinary marine projects for port and coastal clients.
• Plan and coordinate offshore site investigations, including vessel-based operations.
• Manage permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements for marine investigations.
• Interpret geotechnical data and contribute to marine design solutions, such as channel alignments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting technical discussions and decision-making.
• Oversee project delivery, budgets, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Support and mentor team members to foster strong technical capability.

Requirements

• Experience in marine geology and geomorphology.
• Proven track record in multidisciplinary marine investigations and offshore operations.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of marine investigation methodologies and permitting processes.
• Background in consulting or coastal projects involving ports, dredging, or coastal environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Leapfrog or similar geospatial/geotechnical software.
