About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multi-discipline technical teams during the pursuit and final design phases of projects
  • Ensure completion of project design tasks in accordance with project design criteria and management plans
  • Control the cost of design and all engineering services
  • Manage quantities and constructability throughout the design process for assigned disciplines
  • Monitor and report progress against design schedules
  • Partner with design discipline leads and construction professionals to meet project objectives
  • Mentor junior staff regarding technical and professional development
  • Develop project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans for final design projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain licensure in other states as required
  • 10+ years of related experience in the delivery of design-build and/or P3 projects
  • 5+ years in a Project Manager or Design Manager role with responsibility for large multidisciplinary projects
  • Proven experience with marine projects valued at $20M+ (e.g., Port Facilities, LNG, Dry Docks, Near Shore Facilities)
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the delivery of projects involving rail, systems, or civil site development
