Marine Chiller Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on marine chillers and refrigeration systems
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify and address issues
• Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts on HVAC systems aboard marine vessels
• Replace or repair faulty parts to restore system capacity
• Provide emergency repair services as needed
• Engage with clients to deliver tailored technical solutions
• Create and submit detailed reports on maintenance and repair activities
• Mentor peers and junior technicians in advanced troubleshooting techniques

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in HVAC or a related field preferred
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in chiller and refrigeration system maintenance and repair
• EPA Section 608 certification (required)
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
