Marina Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all marina service inquiries and operations, including vessel maintenance and repair activities.
• Schedule, prioritize, and monitor vessel direct and service work orders to meet customer expectations and timelines.
• Prepare service estimates, communicate repair recommendations, and provide timely updates regarding progress and costs.
• Ensure subcontractors are properly vetted for insurance and assist with ancillary services such as waste oil, hazmat, and crane operations.
• Monitor service quality and conduct final inspections to ensure work meets high standards.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Coordinate with management regarding scope changes and assist with final billing and collections.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental rules, including the use of proper personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of marina, marine service, boatyard, or related technical management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, carry tools, ascend/descend ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Basic boat handling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Marine Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
• ABYC, OSHA, or manufacturer-specific certifications.
