Mapping Specialist

Responsibilities

• Use drone or satellite imagery to map farm infrastructure including fences, gates, troughs, and cowsheds
• Action map edits requested by farmers via in-app chat to ensure digital maps match real-world infrastructure
• Update digital versions of paddocks and laneways to ensure accurate animal guidance
• Collaborate with the support team to provide progress updates and information to farmers
• Occasionally communicate directly with farmers to resolve mapping edits
• Partner with the guidance engineering team to understand core product functionality

Requirements

• High attention to detail and obsession with accuracy
• Passion for agriculture and understanding of farming operations
• Tech-savvy with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts
• Strong organizational and self-sufficiency skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• No prior relevant experience required
