Mapping Lead - Transaction Management - Vice President

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between business clients and IT teams to define interface mapping specifications and design technical solutions
• Identify, analyze, and document business and interface mapping requirements to reflect client needs accurately
• Create interface mapping definitions within specific business toolsets and perform thorough testing of workflows and specifications
• Facilitate user and client meetings to gather system requirements and resolve complex issues
• Provide day-to-day leadership to the business analysis and data mapping team, including work allocation and quality oversight
• Support project management activities including progress monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance within Agile frameworks
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in China and India to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
• Analyze existing business models and explore strategic workflows to drive automation and process efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 14+ years of experience as an interface mapping analyst or business analyst
• Extensive experience in Transaction Management and Capital Markets (Equity, FI, Money Markets, FX, and Cash products)
• Deep knowledge of SWIFT Market Practice and financial messaging standards, specifically ISO 20022 (ISO 7775/15022)
• Proficiency in data mapping, interface analysis, and transaction transformation requirements
• Strong understanding of industry standard messaging formats such as XML, JSON, AVRO, and SWIFT MT/MX
• Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or writing user stories)
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills to handle multiple competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with State Street Transformation tools such as ISVC, IDW, and DEH
• Knowledge of Kafka Messaging, MQ, SFTP, or SQL/database query skills
• Familiarity with BPMN Diagrams for workflow modeling
• Experience in a Product Owner role or with Trade Order Management Systems
