Map Simulation Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform map validation and development of basic tools
• Work on building up a simulation pipeline
• Annotate and maintain high quality map information for Autonomous Vehicles
• Plan for routine testing and validation for new maps to comply with Mapping and Localization team requirements
• Work with Testing and Simulation teams to carry out mapping tests using onboard sensor data
• Plan for map version deployment and updating on vehicles
• Develop tools for faster map annotation and maintenance

Requirements

• Current student in Diploma or BS program
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS environment
• Knowledge and background in Robotics or Automation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Bash, Python, C++, or ROS
