MAP Design Specialist Structure

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions to support aircraft manufacturing and delivery
• Provide technical responses to concessions and non-conformities
• Sign off on technical documents and concessions for structures design
• Ensure safe product operation regarding structural integrity and operational efficiency
• Liaise with stakeholders including the Design Office, Chief Engineers, and Airworthiness Specialists
• Propose and initiate design improvements and manage end-to-end execution of design changes
• Represent the team and Design Office to airlines and internal customers
• Participate in on-call duty rotations as required

Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in an engineering operational environment or aerospace concessions process
• Profound knowledge of design, stress principles, and structural repair solutions
• Fluent in both English and German
• Strong networking and communication capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously and self-organize in a responsible manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool sets such as Taksy, DPDS, or Gilda
• Experience with SAP
