About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of manual or automated tooling fixtures under engineer supervision
  • Support engineering evaluations including tolerance checks, GR&R, and basic DOE activities
  • Help prepare technical documentation such as drawings, BOM updates, and preventive maintenance sheets
  • Support engineers with vendor coordination, data preparation, and receiving samples
  • Collect and analyze production or lab data to support tooling improvement projects
  • Assist in preparing review materials including FMEA and concept review slides
  • Provide hands-on assistance with lab prototypes, basic assembly, and test preparation
  • Coordinate logistics for small builds or prototype parts

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related field)
  • Basic understanding of mechanical design concepts and manufacturing engineering fundamentals
  • Beginner level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills; English proficiency is an advantage
