Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and support structured problem-solving activities to address safety, waste, and productivity concerns
• Manage capital investment projects from initial scope definition through to full implementation
• Communicate with equipment suppliers to select appropriate machinery and troubleshoot existing equipment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to key plant KPIs
• Standardize best practice approaches and share lessons learned across the plant
• Support the implementation of safety, production, productivity, and quality initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment
• Proven leadership and team skills, including conflict management and networking
• Experience working within project teams
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a project team
• Experience with plant expansions and new equipment installation
• Background in rubber or plastic processing
• Cross-functional experience in quality, production, or engineering
• Experience with intercultural communication in an international environment
