Manufacturing Training Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 6–10 Manufacturing Training Specialists
• Own end-to-end training scheduling, resource booking, and master calendar maintenance
• Facilitate instructor-led and hands-on technical training sessions (wiring, assembly, fabrication)
• Administer competency assessments and practical evaluations to verify employee readiness
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership to conduct training needs analyses
• Oversee LMS administration, including program setup, enrollment, and transcript management
• Ensure training records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
• Champion safety and quality by reinforcing EHS compliance and standardized work practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of experience in training and facilitation
• Experience delivering instructor-led and hands-on technical training in a production setting
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or team coordination experience
• Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Knowledge of quality systems, inspection standards, and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Background in instructional design (ADDIE framework)
