Manufacturing Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training including classroom instruction and on-the-floor demonstrations
• Assess and certify employee competency through structured practical assessments
• Drive training effectiveness using evaluation frameworks like the Kirkpatrick Model
• Partner with production leadership to conduct training needs analyses and prioritize skill gaps
• Reinforce safety, quality, and standardized work practices on the production floor
• Maintain accurate training records and manage LMS administration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Education, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience in wiring, assembly, fabrication, or quality control
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Experience delivering technical training in a production setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Knowledge of quality systems and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience with electrical distribution equipment
