Manufacturing Training Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and guide a team of technical trainers located in different facilities
• Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive technical training strategy for the entire company
• Lead the development and execution of efficient onboarding programs for all new hires
• Supervise the development of all training materials, including video tutorials and written manuals
• Implement and manage a system for assessing employee competency through practical tests and certifications
• Work closely with senior leadership and engineers to identify company-wide skill gaps
• Use data and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of all training programs

Requirements

• 7+ years of combined experience in a manufacturing environment and a dedicated training role
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role supervising a team
• Experience with fabrication, electrical assembly, or a related field
• Experience designing and implementing comprehensive training curricula
• Ability to travel up to 25% to work cross-functionally with various facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, engineering, or education field
• Professional certifications in training and development (e.g., CTT+)
• Experience managing a multi-site training program
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning content creation
