Manufacturing Training Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and guide a team of technical trainers across different facilities
• Design and oversee a comprehensive technical training strategy and standardized curriculum
• Lead onboarding programs and upskilling initiatives for electrical wiring, equipment operation, and quality control
• Supervise the development of training materials including video tutorials and manuals
• Implement a company-wide certification program to assess employee competency
• Collaborate with senior leadership and engineers to align training with business objectives
• Use data and performance metrics to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• 7+ years of combined experience in manufacturing and dedicated training roles
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role supervising a team
• Experience with fabrication, electrical assembly, or a related field
• Ability to design and implement comprehensive training curricula
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% to work cross-functionally with various facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or education field
• Professional certifications in training and development (e.g., CTT+)
• Experience managing multi-site training programs
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning content creation
