About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver manufacturing training in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain compliance and audit readiness
  • Manage Production and Technical Operator Certification and Re-certification processes
  • Identify training needs and generate development plans in collaboration with Shift or Team Leaders
  • Deliver technical training on new technologies and process improvements
  • Maintain Electronic Training Records (ETR) and update training documentation on Agile and CVA UK systems
  • Develop and maintain training materials to ensure consistency across all shifts
  • Monitor trainee progress, administer Classmarker testing, and provide feedback to the leadership team
  • Support Health and Safety awareness and compliance within the manufacturing environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to drive change and educate employees

Requirements

  • Proven technical skill, ideally gained in a Technical Operator role
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in a training or instructional role is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and general IT literacy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Ability to plan and adjust schedules at short notice to meet business needs
