About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver manufacturing training in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain compliance and audit readiness
- Manage Production and Technical Operator Certification and Re-certification processes
- Identify training needs and generate development plans in collaboration with Shift or Team Leaders
- Deliver technical training on new technologies and process improvements
- Maintain Electronic Training Records (ETR) and update training documentation on Agile and CVA UK systems
- Develop and maintain training materials to ensure consistency across all shifts
- Monitor trainee progress, administer Classmarker testing, and provide feedback to the leadership team
- Support Health and Safety awareness and compliance within the manufacturing environment
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to drive change and educate employees
Requirements
- Proven technical skill, ideally gained in a Technical Operator role
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a training or instructional role is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and general IT literacy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Ability to plan and adjust schedules at short notice to meet business needs
