About the role
Responsibilities
- Process modules and end items through the Environmental Screening area using equipment such as laser sealing, vibration testing, burn-in ovens, and acceleration testing.
- Load programs onto computers and interact with software to conduct vibration, burn-in, laser weld, fine leak, and acceleration tests.
- Handle sensitive electronic modules and utilize necessary hand tools to complete technical tasks.
- Maintain detailed record logs, complete operation sheets, and monitor equipment loading.
- Communicate clearly when parts do not meet specifications and coordinate delivery to internal customers.
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency with computers and a basic understanding of MS Office products.
- Ability to lift 15-20 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by U.S. export control laws (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status).
- Willingness to work overtime and a commitment to the swing shift schedule (1:00pm-9:30pm).
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience reading operation sheets to determine specific test parameters and specifications.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to team problem-solving efforts.
