About the role

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and support a team of microelectronic test technicians on the 2nd shift.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance monitoring to ensure staffing targets and productivity goals are met.
  • Use visual factory and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) tools to track products and set priorities.
  • Solve routine operational problems to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals are achieved.
  • Prepare and deliver daily reports regarding equipment status, personnel, and operational challenges to management.
  • Support daily shift hand-offs and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship required (must be able to obtain a Secret Government security clearance).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong expertise in MIL-STD-883/IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Hands-on experience with RF module test and tuning, including use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with familiarity with MES tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Progress toward an AS or BS in Engineering or Business.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Shingo methodologies.
