Manufacturing Test Software Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced software tools for the calibration, validation, and testing of electromechanical and robotic systems.
• Manage requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
• Perform hardware modifications to printers and test setups to facilitate experimental processes.
• Own the full lifecycle of the test tools ecosystem, including design, validation, documentation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Use data science to analyze production lines and provide actionable insights to the operations organization.
• Improve development and deployment processes to streamline software releases across global factories.

Requirements

• Experience developing applications using Python, SQL, and Linux.
• Strong understanding of software integration with embedded systems.
• Knowledge of the engineering principles behind complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience working with robotics and Linux environments.
• Ability to take features from initial concept through to design and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
