About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end system development of functional and end-of-line testers for electromechanical products
- Manage a small team of engineers across mechanical, electrical, and software scopes
- Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to develop test coverage and define metrics
- Debug and root cause issues found in manufacturing test
- Design and develop manufacturing test hardware including functional and system power tests
- Lead tester builds and validation efforts such as GRR and SAT
- Work with firmware and software teams to develop test automation, self-test, and data analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 7+ years of technical experience in manufacturing test engineering
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Experience working with high-voltage systems (400–2000VDC and 480-800VAC)
- Experience in high volume manufacturing environments
- Direct experience with battery testers or characterization tools
