About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end system development of functional and end-of-line testers for electromechanical products
  • Manage a small team of engineers across mechanical, electrical, and software scopes
  • Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to develop test coverage and define metrics
  • Debug and root cause issues found in manufacturing test
  • Design and develop manufacturing test hardware including functional and system power tests
  • Lead tester builds and validation efforts such as GRR and SAT
  • Work with firmware and software teams to develop test automation, self-test, and data analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of technical experience in manufacturing test engineering
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Experience working with high-voltage systems (400–2000VDC and 480-800VAC)
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing environments
  • Direct experience with battery testers or characterization tools
