About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement board-level functional test modules for PCIe accelerator cards, covering power-on sequencing, firmware load, and PCIe link training
- Architect manufacturing test strategies for upcoming server platforms, including system-level integration and BMC/IPMC firmware validation
- Design scalable, maintainable test implementation strategies focused on automation and standardization
- Analyze test data to optimize manufacturing efficiency and identify yield-limiting patterns
- Partner with Manufacturing Quality Engineering to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Deploy test capabilities at manufacturing sites and provide hands-on training to partner teams
- Provide on-call support and triage floor failures
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing test software development for high-volume hardware
- Direct experience with PCIe card, NIC, GPU, or server/storage hardware manufacturing test
- Strong knowledge of PCIe protocol, board-level power sequencing, and functional test methodologies
- Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and command-line debug tools
- Familiarity with JTAG/boundary scan and in-system test methodologies
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing floor operations (100K+ units/year)
- Familiarity with OCP hardware specifications or hyperscaler standards
- Experience with BMC/IPMC firmware validation and Redfish management interfaces
- Proficiency with statistical analysis tools like JMP, Minitab, or Python-based equivalents
- Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, DOE, and fishbone analysis
