Manufacturing Test Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting for manufacturing test devices
• Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to ensure robust manufacturing test strategies
• Develop automated test scripts for product functional tests using C/C++, Python, or LabVIEW
• Build and deploy manufacturing test platforms for manufacturing partners
• Analyze and root cause manufacturing test yield issues and field escapes
• Handle manufacturing test FW/SW change order processes (ECR/ECO)
• Participate in the development of manufacturing test equipment specifications

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing test development and execution (NPI to MP)
• Extensive background in high-volume manufacturing test for consumer products
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or LabVIEW
• Experience with Android systems and Windows programming
• Experience developing or integrating manufacturing test hardware fixturing and instrumentation
• Experience with control systems including motors, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanics
• Hardware and software troubleshooting expertise
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and CAD/CAM
