Manufacturing Test Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and design manufacturing test automation software and scripts to test products from PCBA to system level
• Implement GUI solutions for test automation
• Work with contract manufacturers to develop and implement test data reporting portals for traceability and analysis
• Sustain current test software and infrastructure, including root cause analysis for software issues or hardware defects
• Design web interfaces for modifying settings from MySQL databases on AWS
• Set up infrastructure at manufacturing sites to support test equipment and server operations
• Collaborate with diagnostics, system design, manufacturing, and quality teams to bring up test automation suites for new products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in test automation, test development, or related roles
• Proficiency in C/C++, Visual Studio, and Python
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, MySQL, SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Service
• Experience with Pexpect, SSH, Telnet, RS-232, and bash scripting
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Strong debugging skills for complex software stacks
