Manufacturing Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize daily production processes in collaboration with Operations to meet production targets
• Define and analyze targets regarding capacity, quality, and production costs using data analysis
• Manage and process process parameters within the ERP system
• Initiate and lead structural improvement projects and perform root cause analyses
• Develop business cases and improvement proposals based on operational insights and data
• Support the introduction and scale-up of new products and processes to an industrial scale
• Collaborate closely with Research & Development (R&D) and international production sites
• Contribute to a strong safety culture regarding food safety, environment, and occupational safety

Requirements

• Master's degree in Bio-engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• Strong analytical skills and affinity for data analysis
• Knowledge of or experience with project management
• Interest in automation and process control
• Fluency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal)
• Independent and structured way of working

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience within a process or production environment
• Experience with fermentation technology
• Experience within a chemical, food, or biotech environment
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation
