About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform measurements on characterization and evaluation samples following engineer plans
- Carry out troubleshooting on metrology tools
- Compile data using Excel or PowerPoint for measurement samples
- Monitor machine alarms and take appropriate action based on guidelines
- Support and cooperate with other departments to solve assembly or MES issues
- Comply with EHS policies and participate in company activities like 6S and RBA
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with machine operation and data collection
- Proficiency in MS Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sputter metrology tools
- Knowledge of magnetic materials used in HDD
- Proficiency in Excel Macros
- Understanding of failure mechanisms and process change detection
