Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams
• Use power tools, including drills, grinders, and saws, to assemble components
• Measure and mark surfaces using tape measures, straight edges, or squares to lay out work
• Fasten parts and components together using bolts, screws, clips, and other methods
• Prepare and maintain a clean assembly line environment
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and use required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Proven ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
• Strong manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in assembly, carpentry, construction, or home building
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with sheet metal
• Experience using power tools specifically in a construction setting
