About the role
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams
- Use power tools, including drills, grinders, and saws, to assemble components
- Measure and mark surfaces using tape measures, straight edges, or squares to lay out work
- Fasten parts and components together using bolts, screws, clips, and other methods
- Prepare and maintain a clean assembly line environment
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and use required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- Proven ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
- Strong manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in assembly, carpentry, construction, or home building
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with sheet metal
- Experience using power tools specifically in a construction setting
