Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations, including assembly, troubleshooting, and in-line testing of electronic, optical, and mechanical sub-systems.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment problems promptly to minimize manufacturing downtime.
• Assemble products to achieve daily production rates while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Problem-solve complex instrument issues, sometimes with minimal written instruction.
• Report production data with rigor and precision to shift and team leaders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing position.
• Proven experience assembling complex mechanical or electronic systems.
• Experience with system troubleshooting and testing.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and perform basic calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong technical aptitude and computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience configuring or installing software for new assembly setups.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
