Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and critical manufacturing operations including equipment preparation, formulation, aseptic compounding, and filling for biopharma and medical device products.
• Assemble, disassemble, and operate aseptic filling and lyophilizer equipment in cleanroom environments.
• Operate processing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, vial washers, and centrifuges.
• Assist in the formulation and dispensing of products following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records (MBRs).
• Maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks and batch records, to ensure GMP compliance.
• Sanitize production areas and perform COP, CIP, and SIP operations to prepare equipment for manufacturing.
• Identify and escalate any deviations from normal operations and participate in investigations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and ability to work in controlled cleanroom environments.
• Strong ability to follow written SOPs and verbal instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to weigh and measure raw materials using benchtop instruments.
• Physical ability to stand for up to 6 hours in a production suite and lift/push equipment requiring 25–50 lbs of force.
• Ability to work the specified shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM.
