Manufacturing Technician (Operator)

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain standard and complex manufacturing processes according to engineering standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 5S methodologies and hazard assessments.
• Participate in continuous improvement, problem-solving, and teaming activities using 8D and Poka-Yoke methodologies.
• Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and maintain all required reporting documentation.
• Verify and maintain quality gaging, mistake-proof devices, and just-in-time inventory.
• Ensure equipment is serviced using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology.
• Use hand gages such as micrometers, calipers, and snap gages to ensure quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without a lift assist.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new technical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
