About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain standard and complex manufacturing processes according to engineering standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area using 5S methodologies and hazard assessments.
- Participate in continuous improvement, problem-solving, and teaming activities using 8D and Poka-Yoke methodologies.
- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and maintain all required reporting documentation.
- Verify and maintain quality gaging, mistake-proof devices, and just-in-time inventory.
- Ensure equipment is serviced using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology.
- Use hand gages such as micrometers, calipers, and snap gages to ensure quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without a lift assist.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new technical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
