Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of implant and charger components
• Build small implant subassemblies involving custom micron-scale electrode arrays and SoC
• Operate equipment such as flip-chip bonders and laser welders
• Execute equipment maintenance and calibration
• Run functional testing of built hardware, including setup and instrumentation
• Ensure product quality and conformance to design requirements
• Maintain parts inventory and a clean workspace

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work reliably with small and delicate components where precision is critical
• Ability to follow strict SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Ability to work within a cleanroom environment including gowning and PPE requirements
• Ability to lift and transfer up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Basic familiarity with Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
• Experience with small and delicate assemblies
• Ability to visually detect and repair defects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using electronic tools and software to resolve quality issues
