Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the Process Engineer by conducting time studies, cycle time validation, and labor studies
• Collect and categorize downtime, rework, and productivity data for root cause analysis
• Assist with line balancing and takt time validation efforts
• Identify and document waste on the production floor
• Support 5S audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Update SOPs, standardized work, and process documentation
• Support training verification and skills matrix tracking
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 1–2 years in a technical manufacturing position
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Proficiency in developing process sheets, visual documentation, and assembly line layouts
• Familiarity with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and advanced Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UL standards (UL508A, UL67, UL891)
