About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute core manufacturing tasks including reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Use power tools such as drills, grinders, and saws to assemble components
- Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work using tape measures, straight edges, or squares
- Fasten parts and components together using bolts, screws, or clips
- Prepare and clean the assembly line to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and use required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with various hand tools and power tools
- Strong manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical labor
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in assembly, carpentry, construction, or home building
- Previous experience working with sheet metal
- Experience using power tools specifically in a construction environment
