Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute core manufacturing tasks including reading blueprints and technical diagrams
• Use power tools such as drills, grinders, and saws to assemble components
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work using tape measures, straight edges, or squares
• Fasten parts and components together using bolts, screws, or clips
• Prepare and clean the assembly line to ensure efficient operations
• Adhere strictly to all safety policies and use required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with various hand tools and power tools
• Strong manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical labor
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in assembly, carpentry, construction, or home building
• Previous experience working with sheet metal
• Experience using power tools specifically in a construction environment
