Manufacturing Technician IV

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime
• Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures
• Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes and products
• Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment
• Assist in writing, executing, and completing validation plans and reports
• Support Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects for cost savings
• Collect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization and scrap reduction
• Collaborate with Process Development to bring new products into production
• Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians

Requirements

• 3 years of manufacturing or technical experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Class IV Laser systems
