About the role

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate manufacturing equipment within the production area
  • Read and apply procedures and perform quality checks on machines and equipment
  • Identify and segregate products according to established quality standards
  • Perform data entry into multiple computer systems
  • Take corrective actions following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform general and detailed housekeeping tasks
  • Use mechanical aptitude to assist with maintenance work
  • Work effectively in a team environment to accomplish area goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (including 12-hour or 8-hour schedules)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, and standing for up to 12 hours in an industrial environment
  • Mechanical aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or SAP
  • Previous experience with polymers, extrusion, or plastics
