About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform complex manufacturing tasks including aseptic compounding, formulation, and filling for biopharma and medical device products.
- Execute aseptic techniques for the preparation, filling, and labeling of vials under sterile and non-sterile conditions.
- Assemble, disassemble, and operate aseptic filling equipment and lyophilizer equipment in cleanroom environments.
- Operate processing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, vial washers, centrifuges, and mills.
- Assist in the formulation and dispensing of products in accordance with SOPs and Master Batch Records (MBRs).
- Maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks and batch records, ensuring compliance with GMP/ISO standards.
- Perform COP, CIP, and SIP operations to prepare equipment for manufacturing.
- Identify, escalate, and document any deviations from normal operations and participate in investigations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of operational areas per established protocols.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- AA degree with 0-2 years of experience, OR a High School diploma with 1-3 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Proven knowledge of aseptic techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for 6 hours in a production suite.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and gown for controlled manufacturing areas.
- Ability to lift, pull, or push equipment requiring up to 25-50 lbs of force.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (up to 10 hours) based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fill-finish operations.
- Associate degree in a Life Sciences or Engineering field.
- Biotech Certificate with at least 1 year of experience.
