Manufacturing Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform complex manufacturing tasks including aseptic compounding, formulation, and filling for biopharma and medical device products.
• Execute aseptic techniques for the preparation, filling, and labeling of vials under sterile and non-sterile conditions.
• Assemble, disassemble, and operate aseptic filling equipment and lyophilizer equipment in cleanroom environments.
• Operate various processing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, vial washers, centrifuges, and mills.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, including logbooks and batch records, in accordance with GMP/ISO standards.
• Perform cleaning and sterilization operations (COP, CIP, and SIP) to prepare equipment for manufacturing.
• Identify and document deviations from normal operations and participate in investigations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of operational areas per standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• AA degree with 0-2 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 1-3 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile processing.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for 6 hours in a production suite and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to lift, pull, or push equipment requiring up to 25-50 lbs of force.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fill-finish operations.
• Associate degree in a Life Sciences or Engineering field.
• Biotech Certificate with 1 year of experience.
