About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform complex manufacturing tasks including aseptic compounding, formulation, and filling for biopharma and medical device products.
- Execute aseptic techniques for the preparation, filling, and labeling of vials under sterile and non-sterile conditions.
- Assemble, disassemble, and operate aseptic filling equipment, lyophilizers, autoclaves, and other processing machinery.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, including logbooks, batch records, and Master Production Records in accordance with GMP/ISO standards.
- Conduct cleaning and sterilization operations such as COP, CIP, and SIP to prepare equipment for manufacturing.
- Identify, escalate, and document any deviations from normal operations and participate in investigations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of operational areas per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Associate degree (AA) in Life Sciences or Engineering with 1 year of cGMP experience, OR a High School diploma with 1-3 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex processing equipment.
- Ability to stand for 6 hours in a production suite and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to lift, pull, or push equipment requiring up to 25-50 lbs of force.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fill-finish operations.
- Experience working in a highly regulated GMP environment.
