Manufacturing Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate automated equipment to produce biological assays, reagents, and consumables
• Complete production documentation including data capture, logbooks, and inventory batch records
• Perform daily maintenance and documentation of all production equipment
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and manage physical inventory through processing, aliquoting, and labeling
• Follow laboratory safety precautions and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Contribute to process improvement and assay development for manufacturing

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a lab/cleanroom environment for up to 80% of the day
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Experience with MRP/ERP or JDE systems
• Experience working within cGMP or ISO certified environments
